Started every game this season, fitness? Or just desire to keep fit and play? That's all I'm saying

willtell 9'11 the thread had been changed originally it was just defoe
and it was about his fitness, the fact it was hijacked by all the haters, i take no responsibility for

Let it go mate, nobody wants to see you continually embarrass yourself like you did on the Super Slaven thread when OM and ED handed your arse to you. It's amusing to see to start with, but after awhile is like watching a turtle struggling on it's back in the sun. Just try to be a little less cringeworthy, not every single post is an opportunity for you to score a point or two, try to remember that old chap.

Enjoy your retirement.

Here's what I originally posted Trevor. What is weird about this apart from you picking over the bones of it and giving your self-important opinions? Get a fucking non-virtual reality life you prick.

"Has he actually signed for Bournemouth yet then because I've seen nothing yet? Or was it just hype from Defoe's agent to rush our board to make him an offer?"

Is that really what this is about, a word in a thread title?

enjoy the rest of your day.

Re: defoe - gone to Bournemouth
Agreed except the thread title is that Defoe has gone to Bournemouth and he hasn't...

Re: defoe - gone to Bournemouth
Why would it be nonsense when he cannot, in fact, sign for Bournemouth until 1st July? You would imagine that Defoe is not in any rush, he still has two years left on his Sunderland deal and it is up to him to trigger the release clause. Like most players he has probably fucked off on holiday as soon as the season is over.

Re: defoe - gone to Bournemouth
My point is that after all the press hype and "we should be all over that..." posts it has all gone quiet. Kind of suggests it was nonsense put about by Defoe's agent.

Anyone see the stories about "Tottenham being his one true love..."? No mention of WH now we have dropped out.

Re: defoe - gone to Bournemouth
Window doesn't open officially until 1st July, he can sign a pre-contract if he was out of contract and join early if released, as Zabaleta looks like to do, but technically still has two years to run on his Sunderland deal

I can't imagine Bournemouth paying £6m and £130k pw for a 34 year old player although i expect they are limited in choices for players prepared to go to their club.

How many weeks into the new season do you think it will be until we get a load of posters on here saying we should of signed Defoe?

Re: defoe - gone to Bournemouth
King would be risky at the price they'll be asking, had a great season though. Defoe would have been a solid but unambitious short term signing if he wasn't a cunts and wasn't asking for ridiculous wedge. We're ending up with Shane Long or Fabio Borini aren't we?

Well we'll see next season I guess. Looks like he's really flourished this season, pacy striker that can finish, can also play wide and beat a man.

Would much rather be looking to sign someone coming into their prime rather than someone slipping down the backside of it.

Would be well worth the 'risk' if we could get a deal done

King more attractive suitors Bernie, you must be joking he is a one season wonder at best,he needs to score goals on a regular basis, like every season.

Great goalscorer, think he'll do well there next season.

Re: defoe - gone to Bournemouth
Defoe to Bournemouth King to West Ham would be superb business, however I reckon King probably has more attractive suitors that us

Re: defoe - gone to Bournemouth
Was all for him coming to us until he (allegedly) asked for a £6m signing on fee and £100k a week. Sure that was negotiable but .....!!!

Now lets go for King before all the others step in and beat us to it!

Re: defoe - gone to Bournemouth
I think he will be a good fit for them. I think he would have been a good fit for us last season, what with the EL. But that ship has sailed. Good luck to him.
